    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I support the amendment to sub-clause (1). I thank the Committee. I have also had issues with Chapter 6 of the Constitution. Chapter 6 only refers to State officers. I would like to thank the Committee for deleting that requirement. It has always been misapplied. It refers to State officers and not any other person. State officers are defined in the Constitution. The Committee was up to date to that extent. On the issue of active politics, it would have been fair if the Committee had defined or if there is a definition of the term “active politics”. I hope the Chair will tell us the definition so that it is not left open for anybody to determine."
