Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 21 of the Bill be amended in sub clause (1) by inserting the words “the Cabinet Secretary with the concurrence of” immediately after the words “approved by”. This amendment seeks to have the Cabinet Secretary (CS) participate in approving the budget of the board with the concurrence of the National Assembly. That is the simple amendment that we are moving on Clause 21. It enables the CS to participate in approving the budget of the board in concurrence with the National Assembly."
