Since the board is appointing members as per the regulations and for the reasons he has given, I know we may want to be theoretical about this CDFC. The fact of the matter is that it is a political committee especially at that lower level of the constituency. I want to request the Chairman of the Committee to drop this proposal on the election of the chairperson so that the he can be appointed by the board here in Nairobi."
