Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting clause 17 and substituting therefor the following new clause— Responsibilities of the National Director of Physical Planning. 17. The National Director of Physical Planning shall be responsible for− (a) advising the government on strategic physical planning matters that impact on the whole country; (b) formulating national physical planning policies, guidelines and standards; (c) preparation of national physical development plans; (d) coordination of the preparation of regional physical development plans; and, (e) undertaking capacity building and technical support for county planning authorities."
