Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, clause 73 of the Bill be amended− (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the opening paragraph and substituting therefor the following new opening paragraph− “(1) A planning authority in charge of an urban area or a city shall require an owner, agent or developer of property or land to present a development application for consideration of the planning authority if, after the commencement of this Act−” (b) in sub-clause (2)− (i) by deleting the word “occupier” appearing in paragraph (a); (ii) by deleting paragraph (b); and (c) in sub-clause (3) by deleting the word “occupier” wherever it appears."
