    "content": "These are issues that she has had to deal with in her past. Therefore, it will not be new to her. There are Members in this House who are saying that it is not fair that she is taking over the position of Mr. Mangiti who comes from the other part of Nyanza. She also comes from Kisumu County, Kisumu West Constituency in particular. As much as we must be open and clear about regional balance, we must make it a little wider so that regional balance does not just mean what used to be Nyanza or Central. There should be a mixture. An hon. Member said here in this House that this time we are looking at Kenyan ladies who are married outside their constituencies. Mrs. Lilian Omollo is a good example. Indeed, Mrs. Lilian Omollo is what a true Kenyan ought to be. She is a Kenyan with a background in Embu, Kamba and will be buried in Kisumu West Constituency. Therefore, if we were to look at issues that way, then tribalism would die a natural death. So, the President did the right thing in nominating Mrs. Lilian Omollo for this position. I wish to support her nomination."
