"content": "I sit in this Committee. Dr. Nicolas Muraguri has been the Director of Medical Services and the main technical advisor to the Jubilee Government. He has a lot of experience in terms of what he is already doing. He holds two Masters Degrees, as we have already been told. More so, he had a stint at the United Nations, where he worked for three years in UNAIDS. Combining all that, he has all it takes to be the PS and to work to influence the policy of Government in terms of health for Kenyans. Dr. Muraguri is quite young but has a very impressive CV. He has done a lot in the Ministry of Health. He has written many papers on health issues and HIV/Aids. There is no doubt he will do a lot for this country. With the new Constitution and devolution of health services, he is the right person to ensure that the Government moves health services to the next level."
