    "content": "The other issue about the Chair is that he is well endowed financially and is a senior citizen who might not be desperate to seek for more funds in a corrupt way. We are persuaded that he is well protected in terms of his retirement package. Out of the other four nominees, only one is a lawyer, as opposed to the tradition that saw most of the EACC Commissioners coming from the legal fraternity. The perception that lawyers are the best experts in fighting corruption is changing. The social sciences also have a role to play in the fight against corruption."
