    "content": "The one thing that is lacking, and which the President should consider all the time, is regional balance. It is being raised on the Floor, but we are treating it as a very small matter. It is a serious matter. We have to have regional balance for everybody to feel that they are included in the appointments and that they are part and parcel of this country. If we are talking about one country and one nation, then we need to embrace everybody. Certain areas are neglected all the time. One such area is where I come from - Siaya. Look at all these appointments! Ever since I came to this Parliament in 2013, nobody from Siaya has been appointed, unless you are talking about the CS for Defence, Ms. Rachel Omamo. She is the only one. Women from Siaya are never there in the appointments that are done. It is not that they are not there, but they are not seen. How does the President nominate people? We may need to forward names to him. Can he allow us to do that so that we can help him to balance the country? We can help the President to identify the right people as well from our region so that we do not feel excluded."
