This process goes a long way to carrying our nascent democracy and the role that the legislature has been accorded in vetting these appointments. Whatever methodologies we use and the details that are taken, it all ends up with the fact that we, as the elected representatives of the people, have been accorded that opportunity, which is our obligation under the Constitution, to process and approve these appointments. Therefore, the collectivity of the House is binding. Reservations or approvals are accepted because it is the nature of our diversity.
