I beg to move:- THAT this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Energy, Communication and Information on the Vetting of persons for appointment as Principal Secretaries laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday 16th December 2015, and pursuant to the Provisions of Article of 155(3)(b) of the Constitution, approves the appointment of Mr. Sammy Itemere as the Principal Secretary, State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications; Eng. Victor Kyalo as the Principal Secretary, State Department for ICT and Innovation; and Mr. Andrew Kamau Ng’ang’a as the Principal Secretary, State Department for Petroleum. Hon. Speaker, on behalf of my Committee, it is my pleasure and honour to present to the House the Report of the Committee on the approval of the nomination of the three gentlemen I have mentioned. I do not want to go into details because I only have seven minutes left. We went through the entire process of appointment and it was good.
