Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations on the vetting of nominees for appointment as Principal Secretaries for Defence and East African Community and Integration laid on the Table of the House today, Wednesday 16th December 2015 and pursuant to provisions of Article 155 (3) of the Constitution approves the appointment of Amb. Peter K. Kaberia as Principal Secretary for Defence and Ms. Betty C. Maina as Principal Secretary for East African Community and Integration."
