    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this very important Bill on Forest Conservation and Management. A forest is a very important resource in this country and all of us should be in the fore- front in conserving it. At the same time, we should not really focus on the official forests only because at the end of the day, what we are actually aiming at is to ensure that our forest cover in this country is up to the internationally accepted standard. We should give incentives to Kenyans to plant more trees within their farms so that they can plant up to 10 per cent of their land with trees."
