I rise to request for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Agriculture regarding a looming crisis within the coffee sector due to an alleged supply of counterfeit or fake fertilizer to farmers of Ngutu Coffee Factory and Waikamba Co-operative Society in Getui Division, Mathioya Constituency. In the Statement, the Minister should clarify who the suppliers of the said fertilizer are and the cost of the whole consignment. The Minister should also explain the measures being taken to address the loss that may be incurred by the farmers in the constituency. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir."
