    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I pointed out, the Commissioner of Police charged this officer under Case No.346 of 2009 at the Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court, Voi. During the proceedings, the police could not prove their case against the accused. Subsequently, the accused was freed. If you allow me I would like to read out part of the judgment and table it. It states as follows:- “Under the circumstances, I find the prosecution has failed to prove its case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt. I find the accused not guilty of the offences of being in possession of ammunition and imitation firearms without a firearm certificate. I accordingly acquit him.” Under the circumstances, could the Assistant Minister consider reinstating this officer and paying him his rightful dues as a police officer? I table this document."
