    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to move this Bill. I beg to move the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, (Senate Bill No. 16 of 2015). This is a very important Bill because it will help with implementation of the Constitution. Under Article 27 (8), the Constitution provides that:- “In addition to the measures contemplated in clause (6), the State shall take legislative and other measures to implement the principle that not more than two-thirds of the members of elective or appointive bodies shall be of the same gender.” The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes"
