    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I support this Motion on the approval of the Members to the Sessional Committees. These Committees play an important role in as far as the functions of the Senate are concerned and in particular the performance in our counties. As we stand today, we know that although many functions were supposed to be devolved, there is still a lot of work to be done by the Transitional Authority, the National Government and the county governments. The issues of assets and liabilities are yet to be looked into yet they have taken a long time. It is time that the Committees look into the issues to ensure that they are sorted out.
