    "content": "I want to speak specifically to the recommendation by the Committee that the Government must look at sugar just as seriously as it looks at other industries in this country such as dairy, coffee and tea. The Report has recommended tax waivers on farm inputs and implements, as far as the sugar industry is concerned. This is what we want to support. This Report must be looked at as holistically as the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives has done. I thank you for your ruling. This amendment was attempting to reduce the whole crisis in the sugar industry by narrowing it down to one individual. This House would have been so myopic if, instead of using this Report to holistically look at the sugar industry, narrowed it down to just one individual. Thank you for the Report."
