    "content": "The Committee has also touched on importation of sugar from COMESA countries and other countries which are not members of this common market. One of the issues which they left out is the fact that the Government has failed to restructure sugar companies. I want to come back to the point that Hon. Wangwe mentioned; that there has to be a mechanism of ensuring that the resolutions passed by this House are implemented. This House, in 2012, passed a resolution that required all sugar companies that were due for privatisation to have their financial statements restructured. This has not been done. It is quite clear and everybody is aware that this was the resolution of the House and the Government passed all the necessary papers to the Cabinet."
