    "content": "Such provocative act will invariably lead to further tensions in the region and seriously hamper efforts to find a solution to the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula. The tests have been threatening international peace and security. Kenya, therefore, calls on all states to refrain from conducting nuclear tests and urges all that have not yet signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty to sign it as soon as possible. We, therefore, as a country, should urge North Korea to cease its nuclear and ballistic programme and to engage constructively with the international community to achieve peace and security in the North East and the world at large."
