"content": "Hon. Speaker, as you put it very well, there are 18 private companies involved in the fictitious export scheme. It is confirmed in this Report, as a recommendation by this Committee of the House, that KRA was part of the collusion and Kshs577 million was lost. Further, in the recommendations, it states that everyone, including the board and the management, were involved in the collusion and it gives a specific period, namely, 2006 to 2012. Hon. Washiali wants to name those who were on the Board of Management between 2003 and 2012. This is a parliamentary practice. We have done it before in this Parliament. It was done in the 10th Parliament where Hon. Keynan of Public Investments Committee brought a Report which was passed by this House - about a former Permanent Secretary Nyoike and his team on the Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited (KPRL), where the sitting Governor of Taita Taveta was mentioned for investigation. There is nothing out of the ordinary. Today is the day when those who will stand with the 6,000 sugarcane farmers will be known and those who will stand with corruption will be known."
