"content": "Part (j) talks about one person nominated by the public universities that have established legal aids clinics. Our universities and learning institutions can actually provide a lot of support to people through legal aid as happens in other jurisdictions, for example, the United States of America (USA). Why only public universities? What will happen to universities such as Riara, Strathmore or the United States International University (USIU) that are now offering legal aid clinics and legal training programmes? Will you deny them participation in this? I think that aspect needs to be re-looked at."
