    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is a great breakthrough for the Committee on Finance Commerce and Budget to bring the Budget Policy Statement in advance in comparison with last year when the timelines were a bit delayed. This did not give us a good chance to discuss the Budget Policy Statement in terms of giving a concrete way forward. This time we have that chance. The fact that the Budget Policy Statement has been referred to the standing committees, I request that we expedite this process. We should look through this document as early as possible so that we can see what to improve in terms of budget lines. That becomes critical for us. It also gives us a chance to look at the document within a timeframe that is adequate and that will allow more input."
