    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, we also need to diversify our food production. We normally depend on rain-fed agriculture. We need to go into irrigation. I want to thank my friend, the former Minister for Agriculture, for actually reviving irrigation schemes like Bura and Hola. Of course, the current Minister is enforcing the same policy. So, we want to focus on irrigation because 78 per cent of the total land mass of this country is actually in ASAL region. Let us consider pumping water from Lake Victoria."
