    "content": "Thank you Madam Chairperson. My concern is the phrase “for the avoidance of doubt”. Really, Sen. Sang is a lawyer and I think this phrase was unnecessary if the objective was to have that status, then the phrase should just be “the county attorney shall have the status and rank of a member of county executive committee”. Madam Chairperson, I do not think Sen. Ong’era’s observation would hold much water. You can have the same rank and status but not in terms of payments and respect but you are not an executive member. So, you are out of the constitutional election mandate. I would not buy that. It is only that the opening clause is not a very good clause."
