    "content": " Hon. Members, if you look at how this Motion is worded, you will find that it says that this House “notes.” So, the Assembly is merely to note. I am sure that you have gone through the Report which has been deliberated extensively by the Chairman of the Committee. So, yours is to note, meaning that it is a debate which should not take very long. The question which he has raised is whether the National Assembly is competent to increase the term of Office of the TA without the amendment of the Constitution. In fact, that is the bigger issue. The rest of them are relational issues; whether we have an obligation or even the power to do it because the Constitution, under Section 15 of the Sixth Schedule, has expressed itself very well.
