The issue is that under Section 23 of the Transitional and Consequential Provisions, the Constitution gave the Legislature the freedom to draw a timetable for the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board. In other words, the Legislature could put a timeframe and extend it so long as the extension was once. This does not seem to be the case with Section 15 of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution on TA. So, the two issues are like apples and oranges. The Member for Ndhiwa."
