    "content": "The civil society is a very important organisation in Kenya. It has brought a lot of changes particularly during the new Constitution. It has done a lot for this country. It is good for it to be included as part of the Council instead of removing them. The same thing applies to the issue of oversight. It is very clear in our Constitution that oversight is the role of the National Assembly. The Senate was trying to look for a job to do. This is the prerogative of the National Assembly and not the Senate. I support the Committee’s work."
