    "content": "Hon. Speaker, I am part of the House leadership and, obviously, I cannot go against that. The issue is that I am a member of the Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations. I know very well that the Budget Policy Statement is supposed to be scrutinized by respective Committees. As members of that Committee, we did not have a chance to look at the reports of the Deputy Principal Secretary because of our absentee Chairman. In this case, Hon. Speaker, I seek your guidance because, as a Committee, we are disadvantaged. We have not had an input pertaining to this and yet, our Chairman has gone to an extent of presenting the Report of the Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations to the Liaison Committee, without the input of Committee members. Please, I seek your guidance on this because it has brought problems in the Committee."
