    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I stand to support this Motion No.13 on the Community Land Bill. I want to say that this is a very important Bill. It is one of the Bills that are meant to implement the Constitution. I am happy that this Bill has put clarity on the two types of community land. It is good to note that there is registered community land and unregistered community land. This is in accordance with Articles 63 and 64 of the Constitution; that registered community land falls under the national Government, that is the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development, and unregistered community land falls under the county governments and, previously, it used to be known as trust land. Hon. Speaker, very quickly on the Bill, under Clause 2, it has defined “community”. In the interpretation, it means an organised group of users of community land who are citizens of Kenya.
