    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman for this opportunity. I support the amendments by the Committee especially the amendment to Clause 9(1)(a). We need a person who is well qualified to head this institution. Therefore, having somebody who is worthy of appointment as a judge of the High Court is a worthy amendment. Those who are not in the legal practice sometimes fail to understand who really qualifies to be appointed as a judge of the High Court. In future, for the benefit of those who are not learned friends, they should tell us the number of years of service for one to be an advocate."
