"content": "I also rise to oppose the proposed amendment. Hon. Okoth has some good intentions. The mischief is in deleting what is there. What he has given is not an alternative to what has already been given. The current provision says that in case a board member is appointed irregularly or there is a problem, the proceedings of that board should not be nullified merely by that. That is not what he is addressing. He should have brought a different clause and not delete this particular one. His problem is solved by Schedule 5 which says: “The Board shall determine rules of procedure for the conduct of its business and keep minutes of its proceedings and decisions.” So, we have no problem even if we reject this.
