Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 30 of the Bill be amended in the prefatory statement by deleting the word “moneys” appearing immediately after the words “use the” and substituting therefor the word “monies”. This is another grammatical error in Clause 30. We are changing the word “moneys” with consonant “y” to the word “monies” with vowels “ies”. This is the sort of amendment that relates to where you went to school. The Committee is of the view that the English word is “monies” but not “moneys”. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman."
