"content": "Today we are discussing issues of Vihiga and tomorrow it will be Murang’a or any other county. We need to be creative and maybe even review the laws to ensure that when the Auditor-General gives a report, it will not just be a matter of presenting it in this House and then it goes to the shelves. We need to ensure that no money is released to counties that have audit queries, until such release is approved by this House. As things stand now, we seem to be lamenting and mourning when the governors are enjoying their loot. Let us come up with Bills and devise ways of counterchecking the expenditure on public funds. This will ensure that even the Senators who want to become governors do not follow---"
