    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations regarding the issuance of the national identity cards. In the statement, the Chairperson should state:- 1. The policy regarding the issuance of the identity cards for Nairobi residents who hail from other regions in the country. 2. Whether he is aware of the profiling of one ethnic community, the Somalis, at the National Bureau headquarters and being branded as aliens. 3. The measures being taken to ensure that all new persons registered in the North Eastern region receive their identity cards within the shortest time possible to enable them register as voters in the ongoing exercise. Thank you."
