"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, the reason I was asking to say what I have to say is because the move has been made by the Mover of the Bill. Since they are Government they should know better than what they are doing. Mine was only to record the fact that we are going against the Constitution. The spirit of the Constitution wanted a control system especially for the extractive sector; that is mining, oil and gas. I would not bother to do a recommital because that is the responsibility of the Government. If the Chief Whip of the Majority Party wishes to move an amendment that is draconian, let them live with it."
