I saw reports from these governors stating that enemies of devolution in the country are Senators. A statement made casually like that should not go unchallenged. This is not a matter for Senators to defend themselves. You are the head of this institution. When such spurious and malicious outbursts come out, it is desirable that your office takes it up in a most befitting manner to defend the institution. Definitely, everything we do here cannot be described as enmity to devolution. If anything, we are the first and last line of defence of devolution in this country."
