    "content": "This Bill, as was the case with the Bill by the Senator for Kakamega, brings up the position of the Senator from number 40 something to top 10. I think it is important for the Senate. I know what happened to the Bill when it went there but two wrongs do not make a right. It is important that we look at this and make the necessary amendments. We can address all these issues through mediation. Let us look at the interest of the Senate and this Bill puts the Senate at number four or five in the pecking order in this country. That also determines and informs the SRC in terms of the remuneration for Senators. I want to appeal to both Members to look at it in that context."
