"content": "Thank you, Hon Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to the Land Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2015, which is very important. I want to join this debate considering that we have had a serious standoff between the NLC and the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development. These two offices have appeared before the Departmental Committee on Lands. They have also appeared before the CIOC with a view to try and resolve the standoffs, the conflicts and lack of movement in terms of their mandates for this important work.
