    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I want to contribute to this amendment by Hon. Chris Wamalwa. I agree with my colleagues that we need to support this amendment. I know that we need some threshold for parties to qualify for funding from State coffers. At the same time, if you raise it too high, you disadvantage parties. Therefore, you do not support multiparty democracy. Article 4 of the Constitution talks about Kenya being a multiparty republic recognising political parties."
