Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended in Clause 34- (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the words “in vitro fertilization” and substituting therefor the words “assisted reproductive” (b) in paragraph (c) by deleting the words “in vitro fertilization” and substituting thereof the words “assisted production process”; and, (c) in paragraph (e) be amended by deleting the words “in vitro fertilization” and substituting therefor the words “assisted reproduction”. What we are doing as advised by the medical fraternity is: Instead of using “in vitro- fertilization” which is limiting, we use “assisted reproduction” which is wider. That is all it seeks to do."
