Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 47 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1) by inserting the word “not” immediately after the words “licensee is” appearing in paragraph (e). The explanation is that as it is, the provision does not make sense at all. It is talking of whether the person being licensed is suitable for the activities. It should read that “the authority may revoke a license if satisfied that the licensee is not a suitable person to hold the licence”."
