    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I rise to oppose the Motion for Adjournment not because it is against the Standing Orders, but because whereas the Standing Orders provide that Sen. Murkomen can move that kind of Motion at any time, the reasons advanced for the adjournment do not merit support. This Motion, as correctly reported to the House by Sen. Elachi and the Senate Minority Leader, was drafted and approved by the Speaker at a session Chaired by the Speaker – the same one who approved – the leadership of this House drawn from both sides of the House sat, debated and resolved that this Motion should be allocated time and put on the Order Paper. To stand down this Motion at this moment so as to do further consultations, you will be only pursuing two routes. Both routes cannot be allowed to prevail.
