    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to ask for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister in charge of environment. I would like him to explain what has caused the death of fish in Athi River, especially the section that is in Yatta Constituency over the last one week. In the Statement, I wish the Minister to clarify the measures the Government is taking to reduce pollution in Athi River. What is the Government doing to alert residents not to eat the dead fish? What action is the Government taking to ensure that raw sewage from Nairobi and Thika towns does not flow into Athi River? Could he also confirm whether the water is fit for human and livestock consumption?"
