In the Statement, the Chairperson should clarify the following:- (1) Whether the Government is aware that on the night of 14th March, 2016, between 6.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m, a fire gutted the buildings in Siwot Mixed Day Secondary School in Bomet County and Cheptenye High School in Kericho County. (2) Whether there were any injuries or fatalities in both incidents. 3) The estimated cost of the building, equipment, books and any installation within the gutted buildings. (4) Whether the circumstances which led to the cancellation of 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results in some subjects in both schools are related to the gutting of the buildings. (5) Whether there is any relationship between the fire and the cancelled KCSE results of 2015 in both schools."
