I can confirm that between 2.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. Senators were here and eager to vote on the Bills. Unfortunately, we went on and on beyond the time allocated to statements. Without casting any aspersions to your office, I think that you should be firm on what time should be allocated to statements and it be determined so that in future, Members are aware that they should be here from a specific time so that they can vote."
