However, I want to bring to the attention of the Chairperson of the Committee on Lands and Natural Resources that there are provisions in the Constitution, particularly Article 125(1) which gives him the powers to get information and summon Cabinet Secretaries. I, therefore, encourage him to invoke the provisions of this particular Article in the Constitution and ensure that he responds to Statements as you directed on Tuesday next week. Otherwise, we will take sanctions on the Committee for failing to perform their duties."
