Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 39 of the Bill be amended in Sub-clause (1) by inserting a new paragraph immediately after paragraph (l)— “(m) developing guidelines for the conduct of health impact assessment.” Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, health impact assessment is meant to ensure that the infrastructure development projects that we have, have an aspect of health. This is because most of the infrastructure development projects that we have also interfere with people’s health. Thank you."
