    "content": "The matters that my Chairman is raising are of critical interest to all parties. As an eminent lawyer, you know that the problem is certainly not the law. The law recognises what is called matters of public notoriety or matters that you take judicial notice of. There is even the maxim res ipsa loquitur which simply means “the facts speak for themselves”. There are certain matters where you do not need further explanation. When the Member for Kilifi North struts all over Malindi Constituency campaigning for a candidate of a rival party to his own party that is res ipsa loquitur or the facts are speaking for themselves. When the Member walks into this Chamber and proceeds to sit next to Hon. Leader of the Majority Party of the rival party who by his demeanour and smile which threatens to drown even his own ears and it sends a very clear message that this is a captured fish, then that is res ipsa loquitur or basically matters speaking for themselves.
