Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 5 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting the words “Management Guidelines” appearing in the marginal note and substituting therefor the word “Policy”; (b) in Sub-clause (1) by deleting the word “management”; and (c) in Sub-clause (2) by deleting the word “management”. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, we have a forest policy and not a forest management guideline. We are replacing the words “Management Guidelines “with the word“Policy” so that this clause is in line with the Draft Forest Policy."
